A tactile and concentric journey through a vibrant bamboo grove

Presented at Orticolario 2024, set in the dreamlike scenery of Villa Erba on Lake Como, the UnSoiled Pavilion is one of the outdoor projects by the young and brilliant Como-based uau studio. A tactile and concentric path, composed of a vibrant bamboo grove, guides visitors through the stages of plant life: from the nourishment drawn from the soil, to the plant’s fullest expression in bloom, and finally to decomposition as a transformation into new life.
